WHAT IS YOUR THEORETICAL APPROACH
I am a cognitive behavioral therapist and also use solution-focused techniques. Depending upon what the client is presenting with the treatment plan will be altered to fit their needs. Some clients may be able to work with a therapist in 8-10 sessions others may take longer depending upon their presenting concerns. Since I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist I may use motivational interviewing techniques when working with clients who have co-occurring substance use concerns.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
The standard fee per session is $125. The counseling assessment is $150. The therapist provides superbills for clients for reimbursement from insurance companies. There sliding scale for clients who do not have insurance, do not wish to provide insurance and are unable to afford the standard fee per session.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
The initial appointment may take anywhere between 60 and 90 minutes. After our initial assessment our sessions will be about 50 minutes long.

IS THERAPY CONFIDENTIAL?
Yes, licensed clinical mental health counselors are ethically required to maintain confidentiality for all clients unless there is an imminent threat including suicidal and homicidal ideation.
